PolyGen - Create Polygon Art App Reviews

Love this little gem. Go into the menu and open a photo and you get a beautiful poly transformation of it.

I searched desperately for about a day until I stumbled upon this app. It does its job and for now Im happy. I see future potential for this application. Good job developers. I recommend this to all who read this.

I like the app and its features but its way too buggy. Issues deleting all the points, cant load photos from my camera roll, old pictures get stuck on the edit screen. Have to force close to get it to work again. Would be 5 stars if it wasnt so buggy.

Awesome and Easy To Use.

This would take me hours to do in Photoshop or Illustrator, and now just seconds, and its free (Id Luv a paid version option actually)!! Very Cool, and the fact there is even 3 style options and you can even edit the points of angles to details, thnk YOU, ansokurley AMAZING #IlovePolygonalImagery

It squeezes my image into the top half and puts a black line across the bottom half. This happens on all settings and is a new problem. What happened?

THE NEW UPDATE HAS A HUGE BUG. THE WALLPAER DOES NOT APPEAR AFTER YOU PICK YOUR COLORS/PICTURE. I TRIED DELETING AND RELOADING THE APP AND THAT DID NOT WORK. PLEASE FIX AND I WILL GIVE THE APP 5 STARS.

Before the update, I was really sad that we couldnt enter the HEX value color codes and so I wrote about that in my last review but I feel as if they read what I wrote and added that feature! What a great step in the right direction! Absolutely love this app for making wallpapers that fit my mood or whatever. :)

...but less desire to use the app since everything but the basics cost money. IAPs killed this app for me. I was looking forward to all the cool things that this app had the potential for. Now that theyre here, Im less interested than ever because they cost money. Not even $0.99. They cost $1.99 per add-on, or $5.99 for all of them. Thats way to much.

What happened to the simple Contrast and gradient options? Even if I bought all the IAPs I dont think Id be able to do what the previous version could. Also its not cool to hide the price of IAPs until you try to actually buy them. It was great once. Oh well.

Been looking for a wallpaper app like this for a while. The app has a massive amount of customization that pushes the limits of custom wallpaper creation. The developer is also really open to feedback and is constantly adding unique and powerful features. Highly recommended!

Unlock everything does not work

I love that you can edit points by hand! Lovely tool for unique images.

This app can create great low poly images. However there is no layer option. I dont use the default point patterns, I usually clear all and start from scratch. I find myself working on one portion of a photo, saving it, then importing the saved photo back into the app in order to truly do what I want with pictures. Once you place a point, every other point is then connected to that initial point. Its difficult to make arching designs or other shapes out of the triangles because of this. This could simply be avoided if there was an option to add multiple layers. Also, when you save the photo, it seems to save it with a very thin tint over the entire picture. If you save a photo and then import it back into to the app (necessary because there is no layer function) over and over again the photo will begin to change quality and hue. This is a great app but I would love to see some additional functionalities added in the future.

I LOVE this app for making wallpapers for all of my devices and also love that it has an iPhone and iPad app. The only criticism I have is that the user interface seems a little hard to use and dated at times. But totally functional and worth the money to upgrade in the app.

After I reinstalled the app on a new phone all the purchases I bought on my old phone erased. I want this fixed because the devs basically robbed me and I love this app!!!
